Tenon Replacement

Our lathe really comes in handy. When a tenon breaks, the only way to fix it is to insert a new one.

Pictured here are the steps in replacing a tenon with our lathe. First, the broken piece is sawed off. The the old remaining tenon is "bored out" on the lathe. Next, the new piece is installed and dries over night.

A new tenon can save the life of any clarinet or double-reed instrument, of any size.
